HGS can sample your wells with a SEMCO S8000, SEMCO S15000, and Smeal 5T, development rigs using a bailer on a 1,500 - 2,500 wire line or submersible pumps for 2" diameter or larger wells. Bennett purge and micro purge pumps can be used on smaller wells. The Bennett, purge and micro purge pumps can be used with nitrogen or an oil-less air compressor. HGS has an assortments of sizes of PVC, steel, and stainless steel bailers from 2" x 5' to 6" x 20'.
AQUIFER TESTING
HGS has the capacity to perform a variety of aquifer tests such as:
Constant Rate Drawdown Test
Recovery Test
Constant rate drawdown test (use of observation wells)
Variable rate time draw-down test (step drawdown)
HGS has pump capabilities from 1 GPM to 1,000 GPM. HGS can supply up to 2,000' of discharge hose and various sizes of water meters and generators.
HGS has four (4) x 400' INSITU transducers (100 psi) ( 1 - 300 psi x 1,000') which can be installed and monitored by HGS or others. The transducers can be rented on a daily or weekly basis.
PACKER TESTING
HGS can supply and install packers from 1.5" to 14" diameter and from 2 feet to 1,500 feet deep. Some applications for packer testing are monitor well sampling, performing test well completions, hydrological testing, and zone isolation testing for water quality and production.
GEO-LOOP SYSTEMS
HGS can drill, install and grout for Vertical close-loop ground heat exchange systems (GHEX). HGS has multiple rigs for large projects and the grout pumps needed to install diversified ranges of grout and sand types. Grouting is a very important aspect of the installation of a GHEX when used with a ground-source heat pump system. Not only will it provide the proper heat transfer between the GHEX and the ground necessary for the most efficient operations, but will also provide groundwater protection.
